The project focuses on excavating, modifying, and upgrading the existing stormwater retention pond, along with enhancements to the surrounding asphalt roads and concrete pedestrian walkways. The pond will be reshaped to serve as a statement feature at the main vehicle entrance, while also improving traffic flow to and around the NSC Welcome Center.
Additionally, the design prioritizes safe pedestrian routes and creates more gathering space at the main entrance. Currently in its early stages, the work is centered on initial pond modifications, with future plans for precision grading to align with the National Sports Center's vision of the area.
